The Ethel de Long Zande Publications GUIDE lists the writings and talks by Ethel de Long Zande, co-founder and co-director of Pine Mountain Settlement School from 1913 to 1928.
A prolific writer and a consummate wordsmith, de Long often wrote in the interest of raising money for the institutions for whom she worked. By today’s standards, her words are somewhat saccharine in flavor, but her appeals were very effective in her day and her observations were sharp and to the point with regard to her community work.
