Traditional Events:

Homecoming, Fair Day, Fall Color Week-end, Nativity Play, Wildflower Week-end, Black Mountain Wildflower Week-end

Other Events:

Trustees, Advisory Council members, and others participated in a Fund-raising seminar after Homecoming week-end, in August.

The gift shop was moved to the balcony of Laurel House dining room.

Trustees voted to establish a Trustees’ Fund for special uses.

The Elwood J. Carr Plant Studies Center was moved to the Primary (Girls Industrial) Building, and presented to Pine Mountain Settlement School.

The summer program included 2 Elderhostels, 2 day camps, an Appalachian Family Week, 2 extension classes from Southeast Community College.
