[melv_II_album_281.jpg]<\/p><\/div>Mary Blackburn came to Pine Mountain in 1919 as a bookkeeper for the Settlement School. The <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.pinemountainsettlement.net\/?page_id=897\">1919 issue of <em>Notes<\/em><\/a> announces that &#8220;Mary Blackburn of Cincinnati comes to PMSS this month as bookkeeper. She has several years experience and is an expert in her profession.&#8221; She only stayed for a brief time, leaving in 1920 for other employment.
