[Notes from donor, Ruth Creech, accompanying the material: \u201cJames C. is Uncle Columbus,\u201d and \u201cUncle Columbus cruised timber (figured out how many board feet were in a group of trees) and I think the page with just figures on it was a board foot record.\u201d Ruth Creech]<\/p>\n
