Their narratives were to accompany a film made by Ray and Virginia Garner<\/span>,<\/b> who were contracted through the Harmon Foundation to film the unique educational program activities at the School. COMMUNITY GROUP ASSEMBLY May 20, 1942.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Hattie Sturgill <\/b>wrote a scene for the Co-op play, \u201cCooperation Around the World,\u201d which was reprinted in CONIFER with the title, \u201cKagawa in the Slums.\u201d CONIFER – 1941<\/a>, page 17.<\/span><\/p>\n The program for the \u00a0Class of 1942 Commencement lists <\/span>Hattie<\/b> Sturgill<\/b> as one of the students who participated in the ceremony. 1942 COMMENCEMENT<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Leone Sturgill<\/b>, Senior, wrote \u201cFair Day Program\u201d for The Pine Cone, October 1948, pages 13-14. 1938 COMMUNITY FAIR DAY.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Raymond Sturgill <\/b>and <\/span>Clayton Sturgill <\/b>are depicted in a photograph of the PMSS 1949 graduating class in CONIFER 1949. (See image\u00a0conifer_1949_006.jpg in Gallery below.)<\/em> They are also listed as members of the Class of 1949. 1949 GRADUATING CLASS.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n An unsigned letter [image 021] written to the Arthur W. Dodd family and dated January 10, 1952, reports that \u201c<\/span>Raymond Sturgill <\/b>was slightly wounded in Korea in November but was soon back at the front.\u201d ARTHUR W.
