Line Fork Center<\/a> housed Rural School Development Project teacher for Koyle’s Branch School.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Meador held a two week dental clinic in a State Board of Health trailer.<\/span><\/p>\n Community activities based at Pine Mountain included woodwork, music and sewing.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Scudder submitted a proposal to the Duke Endowment Fund for development of the hospital for surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n A fire detection system was installed in the hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n The farm carried beef cattle through the winter, and reduced the poultry project, to be ended at the close of the present productive season. The sheep project continued.<\/span><\/p>\n Weddings of office secretary Dorothy Nace and Jac Tharpe, and former teacher Ruby Yocum<\/a> and Hibbard Thatcher took place in the Chapel<\/a> in November.<\/span><\/p>\n Frank Smith, Berea College Recreation Extension, conducted a sword dance class.<\/span><\/p>\n
